The 2016 Dakar Rally was the 37th edition of the event and the eighth successive year that the event is being held in South America. The event started in Buenos Aires, Argentina on January 2, then will run through Argentina and Bolivia.
During the event Cross Media Ventures was part of one of the press teams. The press team was responsible for making pictures of the participants and make video material of the race. Combined with interviews we've made short clips during the rally for social media. We've entered the Dakar with 2 cars and in totaal 6 persons. Who were responsible for covering the Rally.
All the pictures were uploaded to a central photoserver what was managed by us here in the Netherlands.
The participants were able to download and buy the pictures from the photoserver.
