Cross Media Ventures takes your privacy seriously. This statement explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it. We act in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Dutch privacy legislation.

Cross Media Ventures B.V. is a Dutch company specialising in live event streaming, radio distribution, broadcast production, data infrastructure, and custom media technology. We are the controller responsible for the processing of your personal data as described in this statement.

What Data We Collect
Depending on how you interact with our website and services, we may collect the following personal data:
- First and last name
- Company or organisation name

We never collect more data than is necessary for the purpose for which it is used.

How Long We Retain Your Data
We do not retain your personal data longer than necessary. Our retention periods are as follows:
- Contact form enquiries — retained for up to 12 months after the last point of contact.
- Client and project data — retained for the duration of our business relationship and up to 7 years thereafter, in accordance with Dutch tax legislation.
- Website analytics data — anonymised data is retained for up to 26 months.
After the applicable retention period, data is securely deleted or anonymised.
Who We Share Your Data With
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We may share data with trusted third parties only where necessary:
- IT and hosting providers — who manage our servers and infrastructure, bound by data processing agreements.
- Technical partners — where required for the delivery of a specific broadcast or media project, under confidentiality obligations.
- Accounting and legal advisors — for administrative and legal purposes, bound by professional secrecy.
- Authorities — only when required to do so by law or court order.
