Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy Radio

The celebration of Above & Beyond’s 150th Group Therapy Radio show in Sydney, Australia. Previous events have taken place at Madison Square Garden, New York and Alexandra Palace, London. The show was live streamed from the venue to a worldwide audience and simulcast to millions around the world via our radio partners.

The events featured an on location radio studio from which was broadcasted live to the world via numerous radio stations. Cross Media Ventures delivered a complete solution: from the production and the on location studio to the streaming and the worldwide radio syndication. Cross Media Ventures was also responsible for the audiomix and audio processing of the live video broadcast.

Beside the Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy 150 show we where also responsible for the broadcast of the ABGT50 show Live from Alexandra Palace, London and the ABGT100 show Live From Madison Square Garden, New York.

On November 5th, 2012 they started with the Group Therapy Radio show previously called Trance Around the World.
Trance Around the World (often abbreviated as TATW and also known as Trance Around the World with Above and Beyond) was the title of a weekly radio show hosted by trance DJs Above & Beyond comprising a total number of 450 episodes from 2004 to 2012. The show took the format of a two-hour mix broadcast direct from Above & Beyond's studios in London every Friday 19:00-21:00 GMT, usually presented in a rotation mode between the three DJs in the group and included a guest mix in the final quarter of the show, in which fellow DJs and producers were given 30 minutes of air time. In the final weeks of the radio show, there were approximately 30 million listeners in 35 countries who tuned into the show weekly, which made it one of the most listened to radio shows in the world.

Like the Group Therapy Radio shows we where also involved in the broadcasts of the Trance Around the World shows. This started at the Trance Around the World 300 show. After that we also did the 350, 400 and the last show 450.
